I’m
jealous! Look at her flat, washboard abs…and her hair, which
never fails to look anything less
than perfect! Her arms are so perfectly muscular and her legs are so thin that
they are almost non-existent! She has a perfect face, perfect hair, perfect
arms, perfect legs, and even a perfect butt!’ As I look at the full-length
picture of Britney Spears on page 10 in my Pop Star magazine, I can’t help but
think that Britney’s body is absolutely perfect!
‘Ughhh…looking at her body makes me feel so fat that I could scream! My stomach needs toning, my arms are huge and flabby, and my
butt is the size of Texas! Why, oh
why can’t my body look like Britney’s?
Thoughts like these always seem to race through my mind whenever I am
presented with images on TV or in magazines of glamorous, super-skinny
celebrities like Britney. I
constantly compare myself to these “perfect-looking” women, and as a result,
I find myself terribly desperate to change my appearance.
In this day and age, celebrities in our society, like Britney, give off
an ideal look—a look that many young women like me desire to emulate.
